aycan extends its popular PACS viewer OsiriX PRO
OsiriX PRO, the new ISO 13485 certified workstation with 64-bit FDA-Clearance and CE-Label as a medical device class IIb, is going to be extended by aycan Digitalsysteme GmbH with more clinical applications and workflow improvements. These are the highlights of the new software version 2.0.10:
1. Hanging Protocols Plug-in
The Advanced Hanging Protocols Plug-in is extended with a dedicated viewer for mammography and other digital x-ray images. Besides a substantially improved loading routine, 12 standard sets for mammography will be provided. The creation of user-specific layouts is more flexible, than it was in the previous version.
2. Media Importer Plug-in
Importing DICOM CDs has become day-to-day business and is covered well by a standard function of OsiriX PRO. This new plug-in increases the performance even more. Users are now able to selectively import studies/series from CD/DVD into the OsiriX PRO workstation, change metadata and transfer the data to their PACS.
3. 3D curved MPR
The 3D curved MPR is a further improvement of the 2D curved MPR and allows a visualization of several curved viewing planes. The intuitive interface allows an easy and fast displaying of e.g. panoramic images of dental CTs, DVTs or vessels.
