Through aycan store's DICOM-Routers, DICOM data can be transferred (e.g. through VPN) between different locations and departments. For this kind of data distribution, different criteria can be defined. And, should there be a network interruption data will be buffered for the down time. Digitization of devices without DICOM interface
Many installed systems from various vendors don't have the necessary digital interfaces to integrate them into a company-wide image distribution system. There are systems that can only be connected to proprietary interfaces. For these challenges, aycan offers various solutions where data from legacy systems can be captured. For example, for laser film cameras it would be captured at the interface and with analog video signals (monitor image) the data can be digitized. When the data is available digitally and in DICOM format, they can be shared on a network, stored in an archive or printed on a DICOM printer or laser camera.
