With these features you can optimize your work process by making them more efficient:
1. Pre-fetch prior studies
Prior studies will automatically be sent together with newly acquired images. At the delivery of the newly acquired images, aycan store automatically looks for relevant images from prior studies and sends them to your workstation.
2. Keep thin slice data temporarily
aycan store allows you to run a second "virtual archive" to manage data that you plan to keep for a short time.
3. Reduce the time to determine who is reading what studies
aycan store shows an actual work list by running a query/ retrieve.
4. Connect your referring physicians
Provide your referring physicians access to patient data through aycan store's DICOM Query/Retrieve while keeping the data share within the law.
5. The right patient data at all locations
Save time on searching for information such as misspelled patient names. Keep your data on RIS and aycan store up to date and consistent through aycan store's "Patient Information Reconciliation" (IHE-Scenario). With this tool you only have to change patient data once (such as marital status) in RIS as it will automatically change it in your aycan store archive.
6. Migrate Legacy Data
If you have old data on optical or magnetic storage devices you can easily transfer them over to aycan store as long they are readable.
7. Store more data faster
Maximize your storage space and network bandwidth by compressing your data without any data loss. Should the device aycan store is communicating with not be able to handle compressed data, aycan store will automatically switch to its uncompressed data mode in order not to interrupt the communication between the two devices.
