History

As early as in the 90s two established radiologists came up with the idea of working filmless - unfortunately all systems the market offered at the time were not affordable.

Due to this fact the idea of autonomously programming a software in cooperation with Dipl. Ing. Stephan Popp was born.

The resulting system was so stable and sophisticated that in 1996 the aycan company was founded. Dipl. Ing. Matthias Brönner joined aycan during phase one development.

Yet in the year 2000 aycan released with "paper instead of film" the first innovation to the market.

Motivated by the idea of helping users to make their daily routine easier and more cost efficient, aycan keeps researching.
