aycan's OsiriX PRO based vascular-surgery workstation running SOVA.evar application is designed for visualization and measurement of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). This high performance application runs on Apple hardware and allows vascular surgeons and radiologists to plan endovascular and stent graft-specific measurements and visualization tasks quickly and easily based on their angiographic images. As an output of the application, users receive stent-graft sheets from major manufacturers, including measured parameters, as well as screenshots of the visualizations for the documentation of the procedure.

Multi-slice CT is by now an internationally accepted standard in the preoperative planning of Aortic grafts and has replaced Angiography in many cases.

A well-timed diagnosis and accurate planning and sizing can enable surgeons to provide effective treatment. Besides anatomic and morphologic orientation, preoperative planning includes the measurement of the aorta in diameter and length in order to chose the appropriate stent-graft.
